Family-Raised Gun Dogs in Redmond, Oregon — High Life Pudelpointers
High Life Pudelpointers is a family-operated kennel in Redmond, Oregon, devoted to producing Pudelpointers that are true gun dogs with reliable natural pointing and retrieving instincts. We breed for the stamina and temperament that match how we hunt and train, and we genuinely enjoy working beside smart, hardworking, stylish dogs with the drive to keep going all day. Our dogs prove themselves in the field, yet they also live in our home as full family members — affectionate companions and pets that flourish on close personal contact.
What Makes the Pudelpointer Breed Stand Out
The Pudelpointer is widely considered the most versatile of all gun dog breeds. These dogs excel at upland game hunting, and their natural love of water and retrieving ranks them among the finest waterfowl dogs. They are also remarkably adept at finding and retrieving shed antlers.
- Powerful natural pointing and retrieving instincts
- Stamina and prey drive for a full day in the field
- Confident, trainable temperaments built for hunting and training
- Affectionate companions that thrive on personal contact and family life
- Outstanding upland, waterfowl, and shed-antler work
Breeding Standards and Testing
We are proud members of NAPPA, the North American Pudelpointer Alliance, and we adhere to their strict breeding requirements. That dedication to careful breeding helps explain why the Pudelpointer has become the top testing breed in NAVHDA.
We are now accepting reservations for spring puppies.
