High Life Pudelpointers — Family-Raised Versatile Gun Dogs in Central Oregon

We are a family-run kennel based in Central Oregon, dedicated to raising Pudelpointers with powerful natural pointing and retrieving instincts. Our aim is to produce dogs that combine endurance with temperaments well matched to the way we hunt and train. We take pleasure in working alongside smart, hardworking and stylish dogs that carry the stamina and prey drive to keep going through a full day in the field — and they share our homes as beloved family members when the hunt is done.

Why the Pudelpointer

The Pudelpointer stands out as the most versatile of the gun dog breeds. These dogs shine when hunting upland game, and their instinctive love of water and retrieving places them among the very best waterfowl companions. They are also remarkably skilled at locating and retrieving shed antlers.

• Natural pointing and retrieving ability
• Endurance and prey drive for long days afield
• Water-loving, reliable retriever
• Talented at finding shed antlers
• Intelligent, hardworking and stylish in the field
• Companionable family dogs at home

Breeding Standards and Testing

As members of NAPPA (North American Pudelpointer Alliance), we adhere to their rigorous breeding requirements — a commitment that has helped make the Pudelpointer the top testing breed in NAVHDA.
